What changed
The Inaris Flashlight is the first light source purchasable through the Workshop and appears in the Gadgets category. Its maximum range is about 15 meters shorter than the planet-crafted Tier 4 flashlight, while its battery is 15% larger. The developer says that capacity is intended to cover a player’s first two nights on Icarus.
The same build enables a double-experience event and its banner. Irradiated Mutation health and damage increase, Beachhead’s Easy XP penalty changes from 25% to zero, creature speed baseline moves from minus 10% to minus 15%, and a crouch tip is added for stealth and bonus damage.
Fixes cover a Sandworm Lifecycle Poster displaying as a corkboard or missing its texture, giant-roach zapper audio, item popup weight not including nested inventory, shadow artifacts on Simple Building Shadow settings, unnecessary collision and distance meshes, and incorrect auxiliary mesh assignments.
Key changes
Equipment and event
- The Inaris Workshop Flashlight trades some range for a larger battery.
- Double experience is enabled for the event period described in the announcement.
Balance and fixes
- Irradiated Mutation and Beachhead values change.
- Posters, item weight, shadows, collision, meshes, and audio receive fixes.
What this means for players

Who is affected
Workshop users, Beachhead players, participants in the double-XP event, and players using the affected posters or shadow settings are explicitly covered.
Rollout and known limitations
The post previews an Elysium Great Hunt, a Malformation boss, a two-person Hoverframe, and a Livewire revamp. Those items are labeled coming soon or next week and are not described as delivered. Internal “Future Content” changelog entries are likewise excluded from current player-facing claims.
