We monitor developer-controlled channels for patch notes, hotfixes, roadmap changes, and major versions affecting games available on Steam. Each article links to its source, records when it was last updated, and explains the likely player impact.
Who publishes the site
Articles are published by the Steam Update Radar editorial desk. The desk is responsible for source selection, verification rules, summaries, corrections, and the distinction between developer claims and our own interpretation.
How articles are prepared
Automation helps discover new posts, deduplicate versions, and prepare structured drafts. Publication still requires an allowed official source, complete metadata, content validation, and a successful production build. Automation is a research aid, not an authority.
What we do not do
We do not publish rumors as facts, invent missing details, or copy full developer posts. We use concise summaries and direct readers to the official source for the complete record.
Built for a durable archive
Articles are stored as individual Markdown files with structured metadata. That keeps the archive portable, reviewable in Git, and suitable for carefully supervised automation.
