What changed

The Steam build fixes an input problem with Manual w/Clutch that prevented players from performing a clutch kick while drifting. The official note identifies the issue as bug 4481213 and restores the intended technique without listing other transmission changes.

A separate repair addresses Horizon Drifting Sessions that sometimes ended immediately after they began. That issue is tracked as bug 4418123.

Key changes

Driving

  • Manual w/Clutch accepts clutch-kick input during drifts again.

Sessions

  • Affected Horizon Drifting Sessions no longer terminate just after starting.

What this means for players

Drivers using the manual-clutch control scheme can once again initiate or adjust a drift with the documented technique. Groups entering Horizon Drifting Sessions should no longer lose the activity at launch through the fixed path.

Who is affected

Steam players using Manual w/Clutch and players entering Horizon Drifting Sessions are explicitly named. Other platforms are not included in this version line.

Rollout and known limitations

The fixes were marked available from July 20. No other fixes, save implications, or remaining drifting issues are stated.

Editorial context

Steam Update Radar assessment: this is a short but complete gameplay hotfix. Its two items both affect the ability to perform or remain in a drifting activity, so the note is useful without speculative padding.
