What changed
The production expansion adds Steam Cloud integration, three save slots, faster and more stable save loading, and a new production worker named Alex. A sewing machine produces eight clothing items, while a press machine produces eight floor coverings and one basic paint. A clothing shelf lets stores display the new garments.
Business capacity expands through 16 farm plots, eight supermarket expansions, and four storage expansions. Ten plants are added, and Traditional Chinese, Thai, and Arabic join the supported languages. Later-level customer counts, twice-daily VIP visits after level 20, farmer and restocker pathfinding, shelf direction arrows, crate tooltips, and daily reporting also change.
The two production machines extend the shop loop in different directions. The sewing machine creates clothing for sale, while the press machine creates coverings, flooring, and paint used in or sold through the expanded business. The new shelf is required to present the clothing products as regular merchandise rather than leaving the production system disconnected from the store floor.
Versions 1.1.1 through 1.1.3 stabilize those systems. The first patch fixes the production worker’s level requirement, keeps the production panel locked until a worker is hired, adds panel tooltips, and repairs translations. Version 1.1.2 fixes farmers who fail to water crops or feed animals, stops Alex blocking warehouse paths, prioritizes nearby inputs before warehouse trips, and repairs worker-dismissal issues.
Version 1.1.3 further improves production-worker behavior, prevents Alex from taking crates from other workers or the player, and lets the player free a restocker stuck holding a crate in front of the store.
Taken together, the fixes establish clearer ownership of crates and machine inputs. Alex checks nearby materials before making a warehouse trip, should no longer block restockers in shared warehouse space, and should not remove a crate already being handled by another worker or the player. The rescue interaction is a fallback for the remaining documented restocker hold state rather than a claim that workers can never become stuck.

What this means for players
The update broadens both production and property growth while making saves easier to move between devices. The three later patches matter because they resolve several automation conflicts introduced around Alex and the new production panel.
Players who prefer separate business strategies can use the three save slots rather than replacing one run, and Steam Cloud is intended to continue those saves on another device. The official post says loading speed and stability improve but does not give timings or guarantee recovery of previously damaged data.
Who is affected
Players using production machines, employees, farm animals or crops, Steam Cloud, multiple saves, or the three new languages are directly covered.
Rollout and known limitations
The base content post was published July 17; versions 1.1.1, 1.1.2, and 1.1.3 followed through July 22. The official sources do not describe save conversion, rollback, or a remaining known-issue list.
Editorial context
Steam Update Radar assessment: the previously deferred 1.1.1 article is superseded by 1.1.3. Combining the full production update with all three hotfixes gives players the accurate current state.
